SUNRISE, Fla. -- Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo admitted he lost his temper.
New York Islanders Jaroslav Halak said he was frustrated.
In the end, Panthers rookie Denis Malgin scored at 4:14 of overtime as Florida defeated New York 3-2 on Saturday night at the BB&T Center.
Halak was more upset with the Panthers' second goal, which snuck under his left pad with 13.6 seconds left in regulation.
That goal by Jonathan Marchessault kept the Islanders from earning what would have been their first road win of the season. New York led 2-1 at the time, but Florida pulled Luongo to get an extra attacker.
