Tomorrow afternoon (noon to be exact), the New York Islanders will host game three of the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs against the Washington Capitals.
With each team alternating playing their best games in the first two of this series, it heads to Hempstead Turnpike with everything deadlocked at a win each. It now becomes a best of five with the Islanders holding three games at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, which is, as everyone knows all too well, in its final season.
The first game featured New York playing practically the perfect road playoff game, stifling the Capitals en route to a 4-1 victory.
