Nikolay Kulemin could miss the rest of the regular season with an upper-body injury suffered in the first period of Friday’s win in Pittsburgh.
Kulemin certainly will miss the next two games, Thursday in Philadelphia and Friday in Brooklyn against the Devils, which leaves the final five games in the last seven days for him to try to squeeze in a return without much practice time.
“He’s got some discomfort. The plan of attack is to work every day and see if he can get back on the ice,” Doug Weight said Monday. “It’s not going to be longer than two, three weeks.
