While we are out enjoying our barbecues and likely discussing our opinions on the most recent moves by the New York Islanders, or lack thereof if you take the pessimistic point of view, we should take a moment to remember why we celebrate in the first place.
America is the land of the free, a country in which you have the ability to do anything you want (even if it’s choosing to be a Rangers fan) and that’s pretty special. The best hockey players in the world want to come to America and play the game they love in this great country.
