Hockey is here. The New York Islanders played their first preseason game of the year. It was the first of six games over the next seven nights. It’s a packed schedule as the Islanders try to suss out what they have in their roster.
Game one ended with the Islanders winning with a score of 3-0 over the Philadelphia Flyers. Thanks to power-play goals by Kieffer Bellows (more on him later), Cal Clutterbuck, and a blue line shot from Sebastian Aho.
Remember, the preseason doesn’t mean anything. Last season the Islanders went 6-1-1 in the preseason.
