It’s early in the New York Islanders season, I know. But the team still has a glaring need at the moment. It’s not defense. They have a few guys they can plug in the roster to make that blue line better. And it’s not goaltending. I like the Isles 1a-1b setup with Halak and Greiss.

John Tavares is untouchable in his first line role. Arguably one of the ten best at his role, the captain is miles ahead of anyone else at the position for the team.
