New York Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello has brought in goalie Semyon Varlamov on a four-year deal. The former Washington Capital and Colorado Avalanche goalie signed a deal to be with the Isles after a down year in Colorado.
The AAV on the deal is still unknown but we will update you as the information comes along.
Still Good Goalie
Semyon Varlamov didn’t have a great year with the Colorado Avalanche in 2018-19. In 49 games played last season, he posted a 2.87 GAA and a 0.909 SV% with a 20-19-9 record. Obviously, not great numbers.
