New York Islanders Sign Noah Dobson to Entry Level Contract

The New York Islanders announced on Monday that they had signed 2018 first-round and 12th overall pick Noah Dobson to an entry-level contract.

The Summerside, Prince Edward Island native (yeah he grew up on an Island) was selected 12th overall by the Islanders after an impressive 2017-18 season with the Acadie-Bathurst Titans of the QMJHL.

In 67 games played the 6’3″ 176lbs blueliner scored 69 points. His play helped the Titans finish second in the QMJHL with a 43-15-8 record. A record that pushed them into the Québec Major Junior League playoffs.

It Didn’t End in the Regular Season

Through 20 games of the QMJHL playoffs, Dobson’s Titans’ lost a total of four games as they breezed their way through the Québec division of the CHL.
