For the first time since his banishment to Bridgeport after a 22 game stint in the NHL last year, Josh Ho-Sang has been recalled by the New York Islanders. Ho-Sang was selected 28th by the Islanders in 2014 and has 43 NHL games under his belt so far.
His first stint came in 2016-2017 down the final stretch of the season. In 21 games, he had 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) and really help lead the Islanders offense, so much so they nearly made the playoffs in a last-ditch effort in March.
The next year it was assumed he would be a lock on the Isles roster.
