By this time next season, we might see an incredible turnover in the roster. A few unrestricted free agents will likely be out the door by 2019-20 opening the door for a few prospects to make the team.
And if the Islanders aren’t a factor for the playoffs, you’d have to expect them to sell a few pieces creating even more room on the roster.
