Out in Bethlehem, they're killing time.
The New York Islanders will play a preseason game at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania on September 21st against the host Philadelphia Flyers.
The year-old arena, home of the Flyers' AHL affiliate the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, has never hosted an NHL game before. Tickets are on sale for Phantoms season ticket holders only right now, but general sales will begin on July 30. If you're within driving distance, go for it.
Our brethren and sistren at Broad Street Hockey are all over it already, including a few press-released words from Flyers president and buzzcut enthusiast Paul Holmgren on the historic game.
