Yesterday, the official 23 man roster was released leading up to the New York Islanders‘ first game of the year on Friday night. After the waives by the Islanders, it was pretty obvious who was going to make the team and there weren’t any surprises.
Once veteran Thomas Hickey was waived it became clear that the youngster, Noah Dobson was going to make the roster. Dobson was somehow available for the Islanders when they were on the clock with the 12th pick in the 2018 draft.
Since being drafted, he’s been an absolute stud.
