New York Islanders fans are left scratching their heads every year at the conclusion of the trade deadline. The last time Garth Snow made a big move was 2006 with the acquisition of Ryan Smyth (who did not want to be on the team).
The Isles are in the playoff hunt with 64 points in 61 games, one behind Columbus for the second Wild Card Spot in the East. The Islanders also have 26 ROW, which is more than any team that they are in the race with.
If they can get on a hot streak and win five straight, things will be looking good come April.
