It’s always nice to watch a New York Islanders win. What’s even nicer is when down by one, two, even three goals, the team doesn’t let you lose hope. The Isles can score any time, and with the defense not being nearly as atrocious as last year, can stop a team from scoring.
This is about Barzal though, and how he could be a 30 goal player if he shoots the puck more. With 81 shots in 36 games, he’s on pace to eclipse his shot total from last season. As we saw last night, that needs to continue if he’s going to hit between 20-30 goals like he did last year.
