Adjusting to the AHL has been a bit tough for Kieffer Bellows. Bellows, selected by the New York Islanders in the first round of the 2016 draft has been a goal-scoring machine in recent years. Except, this year he’s struggled at times in the AHL.
Most recently, Bellows went on a stretch where he didn’t have a goal for seven games. Even for a player in their first year at a new level, that’s a long time for someone as talented as Bellows is.
Since then, he’s been much better with two goals in the last four games.
