The league is better with personalities in it, personalities like New York Islanders Josh Ho-Sang. He’s not that typical fly straight, tout the party line, cliché talking hockey player. He’s a brash, has incredible self-confidence, and isn’t shy to let you know about it.
He’s not a character, he’s a personality. And the game of hockey is much better with it, than without. The latter being a real possibility based on Ho-Sang’s career trajectory since the NHL draft in 2014.
We’re all familiar with the story at this point. But it wasn’t a smooth line of progression for Ho-Sang.
