Just the other day, I wrote how Josh Bailey needed to step up for the New York Islanders. He was on an awful stretch of a run lasting nearly the entire month of March, but today he was able to break through.
After the Islanders blew the lead in the third period, they needed someone to step up. The Islanders had two goals, looking for a third, something they’ve only done twice previously this month.
At the 16:03 mark in the period, Bailey roofed one against Carter Hart to give the Isles the lead.
