Broadcasting legend, as well as Hockey Hall of Famer Jiggs McDonald, is planning on retiring from the broadcasting booth come February.

Longtime sports broadcaster who spent time broadcasting the New York Islanders, Jiggs McDonald, has decided to hang up the microphone after the Kings game on February 9.

This year will make it 50 consecutive years in which McDonald has been in the broadcasting booth for at least one event.
