The New York Islanders are roughly five hours away from puck drop for their annual Columbus Day matinee game. While it seems unlikely that there will be any changes to the roster at this point, one might be needed for the future after today.
Jordan Eberle left with an injury on Saturday night and we didn’t really get an update on it after the game. For today, the Islanders are just going to have to make due. Long-term, the Isles can’t continue to put the likes of Tom Kuhnhackl and Cal Clutterbuck in the top six.
