There are many factors to consider when the New York Islanders have to determine a player’s tradability. The player’s talent and production level probably come first. Then their contract price and term must be considered against any prospective partner’s cap-space.

It’s a lot to consider. But all those variables are important to establish the value of whatever asset Garth Snow is trying to move.

So to help him out I’ve divided all of his assets into a few handy categories.
