It’s nearly impossible to be this bad on the power play. In the New York Islanders last 28 chances, Dating back to November 18, the Isles have just one goal on the man advantage. Barry Trotz has his hands full trying to fix this issue.
Yesterday, Trotz decided to swap out a couple of underperforming veterans for a couple promising younger players, a move I’m always on board with. Cal Clutterbuck and Johnny Boychuk were replaced by Anthony Beauvillier and Josh Ho-Sang.
Clutterbuck has the same number of power play points in the last five years (3) as Josh Ho-Sang does in his 43 game stint in the NHL.
