The biggest issue through the month of October for the New York Islanders has been the power play. Through the first ten games of the year, it looked absolutely atrocious. Although they’ve improved mightily in the last two games they’ve played.
On Saturday they went 3-for-5 on the power play in their win against the Nashville Predators. Then last night they went 2-for-5 in their win over the Vegas Golden Knights.
Just a few days ago they were rocking the worst power play in the league, it’s crazy to think that in the past two games alone that percentage was 50 percent (5-for-10).
