Adam Pelech has been struggling for the New York Islanders. He has five points in 15 games but a low CF percentage of 45.8. Pelech started the year on the top pair which didn’t last too long after he clearly struggled with the extended minutes.
Not only is he off the top pair but he may be losing his starting spot. Today at practice, Adam Pelech was paired with Dennis Seidenberg who isn’t even on the roster. Instead, Luca Sbisa, who is essentially Seidenberg 2.0 is paired with Johnny Boychuk.
Boychuk on the third pair I’m all for.
