It’s down to the wire for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Just like the New York Islanders, who needed outside help at the end of the season to make the playoffs, the Sound Tigers trail the Hershey Bears by one point for the final spot in the Atlantic Division.
On Thursday, the team announced that they have recalled Connor Jones to help with the late-season push. Jones, 26, was solid during his brief stint in Brooklyn, but will rejoin his twin brother, Kellen, for the season’s final two contests.
In other news, Joshua Ho-Sang and Adam Pelech, two crucial contributors to the Isles’ late-season run, have also been recalled for contests against Springfield on Friday and Scranton on Saturday.
