In addition to Anders Lee, Brock Nelson and Calvin de Haan the New York Islanders will have two more representatives in the IIHF World Championship. Dennis Seidenberg and Thomas Greiss are joining Team Germany.
This will be Greiss’ second time playing in the tournament. Last year he posted a solid .904 save percentage and a 2.50 goals-against average going 3-1-0 in four games.
Germany is set to face off against the U.S. in their first game on May 5. It’s a 2:15 pm start on Friday so you might have to play hooky to catch the game.
