New York Islanders Daily: Goalies Have League’s Worst Save Percentage

For the sixth time this year, Thomas Greiss allowed five goals or more for the New York Islanders. It’s been nothing out of the ordinary for Greiss to have a stinker in net. Unfortunately, the same could be said about Jaroslav Halak as well.

After the Islanders lost last night the Sportsnet Stats provided us with an update that isn’t too surprising but it is still gutwrenching to see. The Islanders goalies now have the worst save percentage in the NHL with .892

A combined sub .900 save percentage is just atrocious. The Islanders have allowed 119 goals this year which is second most in the league.
