After another New York Islanders embarrassing road loss, Garth Snow has some time to make a decision before the Isles play next. Will he or won’t he make a move before the deadline.
Arthur Staple mentions how Garth Snow has only moved a first round pick or elite prospect at the deadline once in his tenure as GM. It was in 2007 when he dealt Ryan O’Marra and Robert Nilsson for Ryan Smyth.
Smyth didn’t really pan out with the Islanders and O’Marra and Nilsson luckily didn’t do much after being dealt.
