The Islanders are in Ottawa for the back half of a traveling back-to-back after disposing of the Coyotes last night in New York. A win would bring their win streak to six.
The Senators, as expected, are at the bottom of the league with only five standings points so far. But Barry Trotz did his best to respect the opposition and praise the job of their new coach, DJ Smith:
