The New York Islanders are back from a weird bye week that wasn’t actually a bye week and are set to take to the road against the Nashville Predators for the second and final meeting this season. The Islanders lone loss this season was last week’s game against game against the Predators, but they come into this game with a 2-1-0 record and plenty of rest - they last played on Monday and defeated the San Jose Sharks by a score of four to nothing. A loss here tonight would make the Islanders the first team to get swept of this young NHL season.
