The New York Islanders will try to get back to real .500 tonight at Little Caesar’s as they take on the Detroit Red Wings. The Islanders are coming off of a six to two loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins where their lack of talent really showed. The Islanders were once again listless on the power play and scored one goal at even strength while they were dominated in possession.
Greiss will get his seventh game in eight contests as his delta save percentage continues to plummet. Robin Lehner is expected to be healthy enough to back up tonight.
