One of the bright spots for the New York Islanders offensively at the start of the 2019-2020 season is Anthony Beauvillier. Through the team’s first eight games, Beauvillier has six points (2 goals, 4 assists).
Last year, Beau stumbled out of the gate. In fact, with one point in his first 16 games, he was asleep in the gate (that’s a better description). This year has been the exact opposite.
At the end of 2017-2018, Anthony Beauvillier was on a 60 point pace with Mathew Barzal and Jordan Eberle. The expectation was for him to continue to play at a high level.
