New York Islanders: Andrew Ladd Quietly Producing Since Return

Over the past three seasons, Andrew Ladd has been one of the more frustrating New York Islanders. In July of 2016, he received a whopping seven-year contract from General Manager, Garth Snow.

At $5.5 million per year the price was rather steep and the term seemed a bit too long for an older veteran. The deal has since backfired and it’s been one of the worst deals going in the NHL right now.

His first year he put up 23 goals, which you’d take from Ladd but he only had eight assists. That’s almost impossible in 78 games.
