New York Islanders: Andrew Ladd isn’t expected back anytime soon

At practice today we saw some things that we haven’t seen from the New York Islanders yet this year. Josh Ho-Sang got some action on the top unit, while Jordan Eberle sat out of practice due to stiffness.

Cal Clutterbuck still is banged up from his fall in Dallas, before the Christmas break and Andrew Ladd wasn’t on the ice either. Ladd not being out there wasn’t much of a surprise.

The last time Andrew Ladd suited up for the Islanders was on November 13 against Vancouver. He picked up an assist in 11:03 of ice time, after just playing 9:35 the game before, and that’s been it for Ladd who is suffering from a lower-body injury.
