New York Islanders Add Old Friend PA Parenteau

It was rumored Garth Snow was seeking another forward, and he wasted little time bringing forward PA Parenteau back to the Islanders on a one year, $1.25 million contract. Parenteau played for the New York Islanders from 2010-2012 and put up 120 points over those two seasons.

PA played on the right side of John Tavares, and could get a chance to play in that spot again, along with newly acquired Andrew Ladd.

After leaving the Islanders in 2012, Parenteau signed a four year contract in 2012 with the Colorado Avalanche and was traded to the Montreal Canadiens for the third year of the contract.
