For the 2018-19 season to be remotely successful for the New York Islanders a few players will have to have bounce-back years. They’ll have to get back to productive ways if the Isles are to any chance at success in a post-Tavares world.
Obviously, that excludes “the kid that won the Calder”, Anders Lee, Jordan Eberle, and even Josh Bailey. All had either career years or were their normal productive selves.
Barzal was the most productive player on the team with 85 points in 83 in his rookie season. Anders Lee was one of only six players to score 40 goals in the NHL.
