Andrew Ladd and Jason Chimera got their first goals as Islanders and Cal Clutterbuck broke a tie with 10:49 left in the third as the Islanders broke through for a 4-2 win over the hapless Canucks Monday night at Barclays Center.
Ladd scored his first in 13 games 1:39 after Clutterbuck flipped a backhand rebound past Ryan Miller to snap a 2-2 tie. Chimera’s goal tied the score at 1 in the first and Nikolay Kulemin scored his first of the season in the second.
The Isles moved to 5-6-2 on the season with Jaroslav Halak making 28 saves.
