Islanders general manager Garth Snow will not be the only prominent alumnus of Mount Saint Charles Academy of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, at Barclays Center Tuesday night for Game 3 of the Lightning-Islanders series.
Also in the house: NBCSN analyst Brian Boucher, who at 39 is seven years younger than Snow but is a fellow goaltender — and a former counselor at Snow’s goalie school one long-ago summer in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
“I got paid, but I think I got paid minimum wage,” Boucher said with a laugh during the Lightning’s morning skate. “He took advantage of me.”
Boucher was 18 then, and Snow was playing for the Flyers — the team that in 1995 drafted Boucher.
