Kraken 5 (EN), Islanders 2: Pretty bad.

Well then.

The Islanders lost to a sub-NHL-.500 team for the second game in a row, getting booed off the ice by a far-from-sellout crowd after two periods trailing 4-0. That included goals on both Seattle power play opportunities against the Isles’ terrible penalty kill, which would be last in the league by a longshot if Detroit’s weren’t having a historically bad season.

A couple of the goals were tip-ins, one screen, and one where Vince Dunn waltzed from the blueline around a weak effort from doghouse dweller Pierre Engvall, into a wide-open slapshot from the slot.
