Yesterday, the New York Islanders announced a bunch of signings including Kyle Palmieri, Anthony Beauvillier, Ilya Sorokin, and Casey Cizikas. One player who has been rumored to be signed for a while now, Zach Parise, did not make the list.
Why did Lou Lamoriello choose not to announce likely the cheapest of the four deals (projected one-year $750,000)? Nobody knows, but Zach Parise did confirm to Michael Russo that he has agreed to terms with the Islanders.
