The New York Islanders have made a trade, acquiring young forward Dmytro Timashov from the Detroit Red Wings for nothing at all.
In typical Lou Lamoriello fashion, the New York Islanders announced a deal at 6 pm on a Friday. The Isles acquired young forward Dmytro Timashov from the Detroit Red Wing in exchange for future considerations, which in NHL parlance means: “nothing at all”.
Look, Timashov might not be a top player in the league but he could be a good depth player going forward.
