Islanders prospect Samuel Bolduc traded to Sherbrooke in Dobson-like move

Selected 57 overall in 2019 draft by the New York Islanders, defenseman Samuel Bolduc is having a good season. With 16 points in 32 games, Bolduc is on pace for 34 points. The 6'4" 211lbs 19-year-old is a dominant player in the QMJHL.

Unfortunately, his Blainville-Boisbriand side sit fifth in the QMJHL's Western Conference, just outside of a playoff spot. And they've decided to make some changes.

They sent Samuel Bolduc with a fourth-round pick to league leaders Sherbrooke Phoenix for Yann-Felix Lapointe, a first-round pick in 2020 as well as a second-round and third-round pick in 2022.
