The Islanders are riding high after — oh, haha, just kidding. In knocking off the Bruins in OT on Sunday, the Islanders won a game that they almost blew (again) despite a strong effort, almost as if this team has a very average to low ceiling.
Next, they head west for a visit to Vegas and Utah later this week. They remain last in the Metro and just two points above the Sabres, who are in the Eastern basement.
