Islanders News: Noah Dobson injury ‘a concern’

The New York Islanders had practice today — the first of three days before their next game, Friday — and confirming fears from Monday night, Noah Dobson was not involved.

The defenseman left the game in the third after a landing against the boards that turned his right ankle and knee (sorry: lower body) in an unholy way.

Unfortunate for him, probably unfortunate for the Islanders, but another sign from the mountaintop that they need to cut bait on this season and make the moves and sales that will reset the roster for something far more competitive than “in the Metro Suck bubble” sometime in the hopefully near future.
