The Islanders opened prospect (plus Tsyplakov and Kinkaid) camp Thursday, and Friday general manager Lou Lamoriello gave one of his rare interviews with media.
There was concern about Ilya Sorokin among the internets — Elliotte Friedman offering that the Isles goalie may be “battling something” — but Lamoriello said it is a minor “upper body” workout injury and of no concern. “He’s been here all summer.”
