As you might imagine, there hasn’t been any roster news about the New York Islanders despite all the leaks of agreed-upon deals—they don’t leak much and they lack cap space at the moment. But they announced the Doug Houda replacement: Tommy Albelin, a Lou Lamoriello acolyte.
I’m going to guess the Isles don’t get up to much else today. Maybe a depth signing, but they probably won’t be big players.
