Through the first seven games, Leo Komarov was fairly productive for the New York Islanders. He had three assists averaging just over 12:30 of ice time per night. Then, an illness came and kept him out of the lineup.
Day to day for an illness is normal, but a couple of days turned into nine games after that illness also became neck soreness. Nonetheless, Uncle Leo is expected to make his return to the lineup on Wednesday.
Komarov should slot in on the Isles third line, where he spent a majority of the season last year with Val Filppula and Anthony Beauvillier.
