Last night was a game the New York Islanders will want to forget. They were bad in all three aspects of the game as they got blown out 6-2 by the Montreal Canadiens at the Barclays Center. For the second time in three starts, Thomas Greiss had to be pulled from the game.
For a majority of the season, the Isles were using a goalie rotation. It was working as it kept both guys fresh and they were both effective. That finally broke in December, but it didn't take its biggest effect until February.
On February 13, Thomas Greiss laid an absolute egg against Nashville.
