AJ Mleczko has numerous accomplishments on the ice, from a gold medal with Team USA in 1998 to a national title with Harvard in 1999. She was also named the best female college ice hockey player in 1999 (Patty Kazmaier Award), and in 2002 was inducted into the New England Women's Hall of Fame. On June 20, 2019, AJ was inducted into the National Polish-American Sports Hall of Fame. Her paternal great-grandparents were Polish immigrants. Last but not least, Mleczko is a member of the USA Hockey Hall of Fame and the New York Islanders are blessed to have her as part of their broadcast team.
