EDMONTON, Alberta — Leon Draisaitl, Anton Lander and Brandon Davidson all scored in the third period for Edmonton, helping the Oilers snap a seven-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over the Islanders on Sunday night.
Ex-Rangers goalie Cam Talbot made 36 saves in his seventh consecutive start for the Oilers.
Casey Cizikas scored for the Islanders, who had won the previous three games of a season-high seven-game road trip.
The Islanders had a great chance to score midway through the second after a scoreless first period, but Talbot came up with a big toe save on Josh Bailey.
