That sucked. No, it wasn't like getting dominated 6-2 on the road. Instead, they played a relatively good game and still figured out a way to lose. That's unfortunately been the story a lot for this New York Islanders team.
In the first, Josh Bailey got the team on the board in the final minute of the period. It took until the 20th shot of the period, but finally, the Isles cracked through thanks to Tom Kuhnhackl and Ross Johnston setting up Bailey perfectly.
In the second period, the Rangers tied up the game at one on the power play.
